Professor Dave Richardson

Keynote speaker for "Invasive Species" on Day Two of the Scientific Program.

Dave Richardson is Deputy Director at the Centre for Invasion Biology at Stellenbosch University in South Africa.

Dave's specific expertise is in plant invasion ecology and particularly alien tree invasions, although he has also published widely in other fields of ecology.

He is author or co-author of about 130 publications in peer-reviewed journals and books.

Dave is Editor-in-Chief of the journal Diversity and Distributions and is a member of the IUCN Species Survival Specialist Group on Invasive Organisms.
